What We Collect

QuranGuessr collects minimal data to provide the game experience:

  • Account information: If you sign up, we store your email address and display name through Supabase Auth.
  • Game scores: Your daily scores and streak data are stored to power the leaderboard and personal stats.
  • Local storage: If you play without signing in, your scores and streak are stored locally in your browser.
  • Usage analytics & diagnostics: We use privacy-friendly product analytics (PostHog) to understand which features are used, and error monitoring (Sentry) to catch crashes. These use cookies to recognise returning sessions so we can measure things like sign-up flow — they are not advertising trackers.

What We Don't Collect

  • We do not track your location.
  • We do not sell any personal data.
  • We do not use advertising trackers.
  • We do not share data with third parties beyond our hosting providers.
